Agrinanotech Ltd. is a Canadian based company that has acquired the patents for sulphur micronization and agglomeration technology developed by the Alberta Research Council (now called Alberta Innovates Technology Futures).

Agrinanotech Ltd. licenses, designs, builds, commissions and co-ventures production facilities for producing very fine particles of sulphur for use as agricultural fertilizers, fungicides, animal feed, nutraceuticals and many other industrial products.

The company is currently building on its soil science research data and is developing important projects in China, India, the Middle East and West Africa.

The company's unique patented process technology allows sulphur producers to enter new markets. For example, high value fertilizer - plant nutrient sulphur (PNS) , a market which is considerable and growing. According to The Sulphur Institute, the current worldwide deficit for PNS is approximately 9 million metric tonnes per annum and is expected to grow to be over 11 million metric tonnes per annum by 2020.
